About the Symphony
For nearly 30 years the Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra has performed classical, contemporary and pops orchestral pieces for the community. Composed of professional musicians, the caliber of the MSO musicians and the quality of music that they perform continues to impress audiences, both connoisseurs and casual music lovers alike.
The Murfreesboro Symphony is called the cultural heartbeat of the community because of the organization's commitment to improving the arts in Murfreesboro and the surrounding counties. The 2010-2011 season, Our Very Own, celebrates the musician's of Middle Tennessee. Our performers, guest conductors and special guest artists all have deep roots in Middle Tennessee.
