| The Murfreesboro Symphony
Orchestra is the cultural heartbeat of the
community, providing professional classical,
pops, and youth education music programming
for the Middle Tennessee area. Our artists
are world-class performers that have been
contracted from top artist agencies in both
the US and abroad. The orchestra serves
Rutherford, Williamson, Wilson, Cannon,
Davidson, Coffee, Warren, and Bedford
counties.
- Last year's Youth Concert was
attended by 3,500 children from nine
Middle Tennessee counties.
- Our educational outreach program
includes sending small ensembles to the
schools throughout the year.
- Our Board of Directors are leaders
in the community that are devoted to
community improvement.
- We have a vibrant and active
Symphony League that plans social and
fundraising activities.
- Our guest soloists are national and
internationally recognized artists.
- The Symphony uses professional
musicians who also play with the
Nashville, Huntsville, Jackson and
Chattanooga Symphonies.
- The activities of the Murfreesboro
Symphony Orchestra are augmented by the
additional funds raised through
individual, corporate and grant giving.
Ticket sales for symphony orchestras do
not cover performance costs.
